Taxpayer funding

I will work to ensure proper spending of taxpayer funds.  School administrators and the BoE needs to treat school funds as if they were their own, finding ways to save money for the taxpayers.  Too many people in position to "spend other people's money" do not treat those funds the same as if they were spending their own funds.

In my work experience as a small business owner and my work in Auditing and Financial Execution, I have spent many years in a position to be a good steward of taxpayers' money, making prudent decisions and ensuring that the best possible value is obtained from those funds, just as I would expect as if it was my own money.

I will work hard to ensure that we are spending the school funds in the best manner possible to get maximum value from the taxpayer funds.

I am dead-set against raising taxes or issuing bonds (which can't be used for operating expenses anyway) because we can't live within our means.  Voters have to live within the income they produce, so should the schools and governments.  Voters can't just vote themselves and/or their household a pay-raise, neither should the officials and/or government(s) we elect.
